About the Adirondack Park Institute

Incorporated in 1989 as a not-for-profit state chartered educational institution, The Adirondack Park Institute (API) functions exclusively to underwrite all the interpretive and educational programs of the Adirondack Park Interpretive Centers at Paul Smiths and Newcomb, New York.  Hundreds of thousands of residents, visitors, teachers and children have enjoyed and benefited from the generous support of the API members over the years
